Newshub's Michael Morrah has reported that NZ Police have discovered 6 homebake heroin labs in Auckland in recent months. The 1980s was the last time homebake heroin labs were routinely discovered by police. NZNEP Harm Reduction Lead Jason George was interviewed for the story and advises people who use opioids to check with their local needle exchange outlet to see if Naloxone is available and to get a supply if possible as "it might save a mates life"
